Description
This course will discuss the trials and tribulations that the City of Avon Lake, Ohio has gone through in working with HOAs to manage their post-development Stormwater BMPs. The discussions will explain how the City has incorporated maintenance plans to all BMP in the city going back to the first detention basins installed in the early 1990s. The good and the bad will be shown, including a discussion of an old dry basin that was retrofitted to a Water Quality basin.
