John Maleri is an Environmental Protection Specialist at the Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) in Washington, DC. There he works to coordinate DC’s efforts under the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement and enforces local legislation related to pollution reduction. Before DOEE, John worked as Restoration Manager at Rock Creek Conservancy where he helped develop and lead water quality and conservation efforts throughout the Rock Creek Watershed in DC and Maryland. John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Providence College in Rhode Island.
