Bob Simmons is WSU Extension’s Olympic Region Water Resources Regional Specialist. He has over 27 years of experience in providing community based water resource stewardship programs focusing on water quality in the Puget Sound region. Over his career he has provided a great deal of outreach on stormwater management using bioretention strategies. He has developed and provided a wide range of outreach programs, including workshops, factsheets, websites, videos, newspaper articles, and radio programs. He has served as the chairperson of the Washington Governor’s Council on Environmental Education and currently serves as WSU Extension’s State Water Resources Program Leader.
