Bio | Amber Fox is a Supervisor for the City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services Watershed Revegetation Program Field Operations Team. Amber manages operations and maintenance service delivery and facilitates assessment and solutions to challenges in public bioretention facilities maintenance and design considerations. Her previous experience as a restoration ecologist and in program management for natural science-based non-profits have served to inform the unique benefits and challenges related to Green Stormwater Infrastructure. She is an ISA certified Arborist and CESCL, speaking for the trees, water, and soil to anyone who appears to be listening. In her free time, she enjoys farm life and the outdoors with her 3 horses and 2 dogs. When she is not riding a horse or a tractor, she occasionally gets the chance to hike, snowboard, paint, or write bad poetry about the weather. |
