• Natural Processes
  • Natural UV light, desiccation, and heat on roofs and gutters inactivates microorganisms (need to prevent microorganisms from being protected in moist decomposing vegetation)
  • Allow biofilm in tanks to compete with disease-causing microorganisms for nutrients
• Active Processes
  • Conduct post-tank disinfection and sanitation as needed to meet water quality needs (UV, ozone, etc.)
