Bio | Devan Rostorfer is a Water Quality Implementation Specialist (TMDL Lead) at the Washington State Department of Ecology. Devan works to protect, preserve, and enhance the environment for current and future generations by developing water cleanup plans for rivers in in Southwest Washington. To achieve this mission, Devan is leading water cleanup efforts in the East Fork Lewis River and Burnt Bridge Creek in Clark County, WA. She is also a member of the Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board’s Technical Advisory Committee. Previously, Devan worked as an Environmental Planner for the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments in Detroit, Michigan. Devan earned a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Chaminade University of Honolulu. Outside of work, Devan enjoys kayaking, camping, cooking on the campfire, making new friends, travelling, and hosting backyard barbecues. |
